PQI Seminar March 29, 2018

A special guest speaker Dr. Manuel Houzet from CEA Grenoble will be presenting the topic about Andreev and Majorana Weyl crossings in multi-terminal Josephson junction.  How he  analyze the Andreev spectrum in  four-terminal Josephson junction between topological superconductors. In addition, the finding that a topologically protected crossing in the space of three superconducting phase difference can occur between the two Andreev bound states with lower energy.  He will also discuss the possible detection of this crossing through the transconductance quantization, in units  2e^2/h of  between two voltage-biased terminals and the prediction that provides another example of topology in multi-terminal Josehpson junctions.
